Little Lambs Benoni is a Pre-School with a Christian foundation where we offer the best for each child to assist them to reach their full potential.
The school was established in 1994, and has built up an excellent reputation through offering good and loving care for the children at our school. Our teachers and staff are well qualified and well trained to assist your child(ren) with the necessary tools to develop socially, emotionally, physically, creatively and intellectually.
Our curriculum provides an excellent foundation and we use the CAPS program (Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement), which is prescribed by the Department of Education and is used within all Pre-Schools and Educare Centres. We have added the following developmental areas: social, emotional, values & morals, creativity, intellectual, physical, literacy and numeracy.
The owner holds a four year teaching degree and is registered at the South African Council for Educators (S.A.C.E), registration number 12357608.
Children experience and learn through play, and their learning is influenced by the opportunities for play that are provided for them. Sensory Development is essential therefore special attention is given to stimulating and developing sensory awareness.
The outdoor play area has climbing apparatus, swings, water-play and sensopathic trays to encourage active play and gross-motor development. The stimulation areas are always open for your child’s imaginary play with blocks, puzzles, fantasy play, creative arts and books.
